Grammy-nominated songwriter, independent recording artist/publisher & West Palm Beach native, Jamie Floyd, just released her brand new EP “New Girl,” which made its debut at #6 on the iTunes Country Album chart!

Jamie also co wrote pop star Kesha’s current single titled “Resentment,” which features Brian Wilson, Sturgill Simpson and Wrabel. It appears as track #8 on Kesha’s new full length album, “Highroad” (RCA), coming January 31, 2020. Additionally, Jamie has a cut on the #1 charted album recently released country artist Ingrid Andress. Jamie is currently working on writing all the original music for the new upcoming Broadway musical, “The King’s Wife,” while touring the U.S. throughout 2020.

Jamie is a prolific genre bending songwriter- her songs have been recorded by Miranda Lambert, Ronnie Dunn, Ashley Monroe, Kellie Pickler, Hayden Panettiere, and Brian McKnight, among others.

Her song ‘The Blade’ was recorded by Ashley Monroe and Miranda Lambert (and was named one of “The Best Songs of 2016” by Rolling Stone, Billboard Magazine and NPR), earning her first Grammy nomination.

Her songs have been heard on hit TV shows like Nashville (ABC), Finding Carter (MTV), The Client List (Lifetime) and Beauty & The Beast (CW Network).

Jamie, along with John Martin, appeared in, co-wrote and recorded the entire 12-song official major motion picture soundtrack for Burt Reynolds’ final film, The Last Movie Star, starring Reynolds, Ariel Winter and Chevy Chase.

Jamie was also a recent finalist on USA Network’s ‘Real Country’.
